- Someone dumping chemicals, oils, or liquids onto the street, in a yard, into a storm drain,
or directly into the water -
- Evidence of dumping, even if you do not know who did it -
- Anything foamy, smelly, or discolored in the street, going down a storm drain, or in a creek -
- A source of trash or debris that will wash into a storm drain -
- Muddy stormwater flowing out of a new housing or business development -
- Lots of dead fish in a lake, creek, or river -
What information will they ask for?
- The date and time you noticed the problem -
- Where it was (try to be specific) -
- What it looked and smelled like -
- Whether you have seen it happen before -
- License plates or names, if you know who is dumping -
- If you want them to report back to you, they will ask for your name.
